Dear Lundquist/Harbor faculty and investigators,
We want to let you know that the i2b2 application for self-service research data has been discontinued by Cerner. Effective immediately, i2b2 is no longer available.
At this time, researchers needing access to clinical data from ORCHID/Cerner, including i2b2-like data queries and/or identified data sets, should fill out this form (https://redcap.link/datarequest ) for consultation with CTSI Informatics Core. After reviewing the application, Ross Fleischman, Kabir Yadav, or Liz Chen will meet with the applicant to discuss the feasibility of obtaining their data and subsequent steps to address the request.
Please note that the UCLA CTSI (Clinical and Translational Science Institute) is working on creating a new DHS-specific i2b2 product for the DHS system, as well as bringing another Cerner product that would serve a similar purpose to i2b2. The timeline for these new services and products is not yet defined, but we anticipate these new services will not be available in the next 12 months. In the meantime, please use the data request process outlined above.
